Canned meat (exclusive to Palestine)

Canned meat (Gaza only)

Within the Qurbani project, meat is processed into corned beef or pure meat with broth, without additives (not luncheon like mortadella). This method supports efficient Qurbani meat distribution, especially in remote areas. The canned meat reaches beneficiaries within 50–70 days after Eid al-Adha, as part of sustainable Qurbani donation programs ensuring quality, safety, and long-term impact.

Due to the circumstances in Gaza and the prohibition on the entry of live meat into the Gaza Strip , Al-Khair Foundation will slaughter the Udhiya animals abroad and supply them to the Gaza Strip in two ways:

1- Frozen it and then delivered to the Gaza Strip.
2- Slaughtering, canning, and then sending it to the Gaza Strip.

Frequently asked questions

Al-Khair Foundation distributes three types of meat:

• Fresh Meat: Fresh sacrificed meat is distributed to beneficiaries in most countries where both purchase and slaughter are carried out locally, and this process is carried out according to legal controls and strict medical observance, to ensure proper delivery to the beneficiaries.

• Frozen meat: In most countries such as Palestine, where sacrificial meat is particularly expensive, the sacrificial animal is slaughtered on its legal time in the State of Brazil, and shipped to be ready for distribution starting from the third day of Eid, which enables Al-Khair Foundation to reach more effective alternatives In terms of costs without compromising the quality of meat distributed.

 • Sadaqa Meat : Many Muslims around the world slaughter their sacrifices among their children, and they want to share some of this joy with their needy brothers, so they send separate sums of money as charity, through which they wish to contribute to increasing the amount of meat distributed to the poor to create an atmosphere of joy in holiday.

1 goat or sheep = 1 portion (1 sacrifice)

While 1 cow = 7 shares of sacrifice (1 sacrifice equals 1/7 share),

Based on the hadith of the Prophet,  prayers and peace be upon him, as narrated by Muslim on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: We sacrificed with the Messenger of Allah, m, In the year of al-Hudaybiyah, the camel on behalf of seven, and the cow on behalf of seven.

Al-Khair Foundation has three committees that supervise the sacrifice project:

The Sharia Committee, the Health Committee and the Executive Technical Committee

Behind it stands a financial and administrative control system, all working towards ensuring the implementation of the project accurately and professionally.

• Type of sacrifice: cows (7 portions / sacrifice), goats or sheep (it is sufficient for one person in his household)

The age of the sacrifice: cows “two years”, goats “one year”, gestation “six months”.

The time of sacrifice: starts from after the Eid al-Adha prayer until sunset on the last day of the day of al-Tashreeq

• Conditions of the sacrifice: it should be free from defects. It is not permissible to sacrifice “a lame, one-eyed, emaciated or sick person.”

The majority of scholars are of the view that the sacrifice is a confirmed Sunnah for every Muslim on the highest level, provided that he is able to do so.

Al-Khair Foundation slaughters thousands of sacrifices in many places around the world, therefore this cannot be done, and the International Union of Muslim Scholars has agreed that it is not necessary to mention the name of the person on whose behalf you are slaughtering, you can simply make the intention of your donation to this person and this is enough that the reward of the sacrifice goes to him, Inshallah.

The policy of Al-Khair Foundation includes that the beneficiaries are selected based on an evaluation system divided into grades in which families are ranked according to need. This system is based on the following objective criteria:

• Families that live on less than the local minimum income.

• Families headed by women.

• Families with members of the elderly/special needs.

• Children under 5 years old.

• Families with limited access have access to markets.

Sacrifice is performed after performing the Eid prayer on the first day of Eid al-Adha (the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah) and ends at the sunset of the thirteenth of Dhu al-Hijjah. Açıklama

The quick in appointing us to slaughter your Qurbani , this will help us to complete the process of slaughtering in the appropriate time .

Donations  for Qurbani continue to be received until the afternoon prayer of the thirteenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, i.e. a few hours before sunset on the last day of the days of al-Tashreeq.

Yes, the published prices include all costs associated with the sacrifice, including, for example, livestock and slaughter costs

It is allowed to offer more than one sacrifice, as our Prophet Muhammad,  peace be upon him, did by sacrificing two sheep, one for himself and the other for his nation. Also, many Muslims offer sacrifices on behalf of the Messenger and on deceased parents.

All livestock purchased through the Al-Khair Foundation for Sacrifice are slaughtered locally in accordance with the Prophet’s guidance and Sharia law.
